Does watched hair never grow?

Guess I am impatient, but it has been three and one-half months  since I completed chemo and my hair is still hardly there...very thin and soft and some places are VERY thin! It is only about one-fourth inch long.
I did not mind losing hair because I knew that was to be expected and I found a nice wig.  But the wig is hot when I have those hot spells!  And does not take the place of real hair.My hair had always been think.
P.S.  I completed radiation (4 fields on my chest) just three weeks ago.  It started three weeks after the last chemo.  Does the radiation make it slower getting hair to grow back?

Dear seven7:  Most of the time, hair begins to grow shortly after chemo ends.  However, there are people who seem to have very slow hair growth.  Also, if the hair was thin before, it may be even thinner after chemo - and when it is that short - it seems even thinner.  Sometimes hormone changes will also contribute to thinner hair.  The radiation to your chest would likely have no impact on hair growth.
