Ductogram- pathology found blood in sample of nipple discharge

I am 28, and scheduled for a ductogram tomorrow.  My question is, does anyone know what it means when pathology finds "abundandt blood" in a sample of nipple discharge?  My mammogram was clear, and ultrasound found cysts, will a ductogram be able to find the source of this blood? And what would my next step be if it doesn't?

Thanks.

Dear Auntiemo, The reason for doing the ductogram is to determine the cause of the bloody discharge.  The mammogram, and ultrasound were also part of this process.  There are several possible causes for the bleeding, such as intraductal papilloma (a wart-like growth on the lining of the duct).  Other possibilities could be an intraductal carcinoma in situ
