Eczema or Pagets Disease?

I have fibroid cystic disease. Once I had a milky sticky discharge from my nipple. For the past two weeks I have a rash look around the nipple, which is leaky, hurts, burns, and itchy. It is severe on the right breast, and beginning on the left. I have  discomfort under my arm.  I use Aveno to help the itch etc., and it has not cleared up.  How do you tell if it is eczema or pagets disease?  Can you tell by just looking at it???   I do have an appointment with the breast surgeon.  Just trying to understand what is going on. Thank you for your help.

Nothing can be said without a clinical examination and relevant investigations.

You should consult your breast specialist and a lab analysis of the nipple discharge and a skin biopsy would be required for a diagnosis of paget's disease.

What is your age? Have you noticed any abnormal features on breast self examination?

The chances that this is paget's are very less. Let us know what your specialist advises.
