Effects of lymph node removal.
I am experiencing soreness below my right arm and into my rib cage.I had a lumpectomy and all lumph nodes removed in Dec.2000.I have had radiation and chemotherapy.The soreness comes and goes but has never affected my rib cage.It is sore to touch....Please advise.

Dear Sue Sue:  This soreness could be due to many things.  It could be scar tissue, muscle-related, or a recurrence.  We would recommend that you see your doctor for an examination.  An x-ray may be warranted to further investigate your pain.
