Eyelash and hair regrowth

I am a 46 year diagnosed with breast cancer in March.  I had a lumpectomy and axillary dissection.  I underwent chemotherapy and now going through radiation.  The first round of chemo was Adriamycin and Cytoxin.  The second round was taxotere which was very hard on me.  After my first treatment i had to wait almost 8 weeks before receiving the next.  During this time my hair started to regrow.  I did not lose it when restarting treatment, but did lose the eyelashes and eyebrows and other body hair.  I had my last treatment on Oct. 3rd. and wanted to know how long before the eyelashes, etc. will start to grow back.  I am also on tamoxifen and have read that this can also deter hair growth.

Dear thankful:  Hair regrowth varies widely from individual to individual.  In most cases, hair growth begins soon after chemotherapy is stopped (in some cases before).  Tamoxifen can impair hair growth for some, but for others it has little to no effect.  Hopefully, you will soon see hair return.

I also had that chemo regimen, finishing end of Jan 2003, Hair regrowth started almost straight away, eyelashes took longer, my memory is a bit vague but think it was around Jul/Aug. Eyebrows were also slow and are only just thickening now but have had some for quite a while. They will come back it just seems like forever, I was so excited I went around telling everybody!
