FNAC RESULT

Dear SIR/Madam,

Thank you so much for your mail. We done the additional tests. We had done FNAC also. The result has come. In this result they mentioned as,
HISTOPATHOLOGY
Clinical Diagnosis :
Left  breast lump for evaluation
Specimen Site :
A.Right axillary lymphnode  B.Left breast biopsy
Gross :
A.Received? tissue very scanty material. A/E
B.Received? tissue very very tiny material soft tissue bit (M) 0.1cc. A/E

Microscopy  :
A.Very tiny fragments of lymphoid tissue.
B.Very tiny fragments of fibrocollagenous tissue with minimal inflammatory cell infitltration.
COMMENT : Rebiopsy is indicated if clinically suspicious of malignancy.
Clinical and radiological correlation is essential.
CYTOLOGY
Clinical Diagnosis :
Specimen Site :
USG GUIDED FNAC LEFT BREAST
Specimen Received Nature :
4 Slides
Microscopy  :
Suboptimal for evaluation due to lack of cellular yield.
Smears show only cellular element of blood.
Kindly suggest on this please.

MAMMOGRA TEST impression.

1.large lobulated calcific in the retroareolar region of left breast ? involuted fibroadenoma

2.enlarged right axillary node with irregular margins and loss of fatty hilum- suggested fnac correlation

Dear Madam,

I sent the FNAC result to Pathology forum. I got the reply from one expect, they told that there is no harm and no need to worry. Thanks for your help

Hi,
I am not sure,but I think that your cousin, which you mentioned on your original thread,needs to have an additional biopsy.It is hard for us to understand the terms used by Pathologists,but of course her best source of information about these findings would be her treating doctor.
