Freaking out here

I am a 60 year old non smoker who has had mammograms regularly since I was 23 years old. I have always had dense large breasts. Years ago I had a fluid filled cyst that turned out to be benign. I also had a "fatty tumor" removed many years ago.
I had my annual mammogram 2 weeks ago and got a report stating that I have "asymmetry and undetermined mass" in my left breast.
Now that I think about it, the mammographer usually puts a "tag" over the mole/skin tag that I have on my left breast. I don't believe that she did that this time.   Is it possible that is showing up on the film?  Also, I lost 45 pounds (due to dieting and working out) since my last mammogram. Would that affect the comparison from last year's mammo?
Going back Friday morning for another mammo.  Yikes!!

I doubt the skin tag would show up as a mass on film and your films would have been compared to previous exams when read. I wouldn't think that wt. loss would change mammogram findings either. I'm sure your upcoming films will be compression or magnification views to "zero" in on the particular area in question.  Regards ....

I went back yesterday. Great news!  It was nothing but a "fuzzy picture"!  They took 3 more pictures of the area and it turned out to be nothing.  I am so relieved!
