Granulomatous Mastitis Returns after Double Mastectomy

I am concerned that it may spread to the tissue transplant - I had trans lateral abdominal reconstruction.  The IGM has returned on the left side and the pink skin and peau d' orange is spreading across the entire breast skin.  There is a mass that is growing and I am scheduled to have it removed by the plastic surgeon next month.  He will send it for pathology but I already know what it will show.  My question is: can it spread to tissue other than breast tissue?  Should I be worried now about getting it in my abdominal muscle which is still attached to my lower abdomen.  If it can spread to the abdominal muscle in my chest, it could spread everywhere.  I would see a breast surgeon for a biopsy but I don't technically have breasts anymore, so who would I see - does a diagnosis even matter now, since the plastic surgeon is removing the lump?  Should he send a sample of the abdominal muscle to the lab as well?

I would post this question on the ask the Doctor side as it's pretty serious.
