HELP! my girlsfriends left breast hurt severely to the touch

out of the blue her left breast swelled, and two elongated lumps in her breast, they were exremely hard to the touch, the whole breast in general was harder than the other. And the hard spots on her breast when you'd touch them it'd hurt so bad she'd have tears come out of her eyes, she couldn't walk cuz her brest would hurt, she was in bed for about 5 days. it all went away within 2 weeks. Now a few months went by, literally this never repeated, and i touch her breast, all clear no lumps nothing. what could've cause that?

and it only lasted two weeks... After the pain and everything went away like i said after 2 weeks EVERYTHING went away, including the lumps

she also had a high fever...

This is not an uncommon thing in younger women. I truly think your girlfriend should see her Dr. for an examination and explanation about these breast lumps. Please see that she does, OK ??  I will tell you that often due to hormonal changes in the body, cysts will form in the breast tissue. These cysts can be rather painful and can go away along with the change in the hormone levels. They may recur too at different times of the month in relation to her menstrual cycle.     Regards .....
