I’m just not feeling comfortable with my current physicians. I feel like I am getting the run around. I have been doing some research on IBC and can say that I have been showing most of the symptoms rather then mastitis, the diagnosis my physician said I may have. I have not gotten better from the antibiotics he has put me on. Can someone tell me what type of biopsy or testing I should have done to detect IBC? I am also 29 weeks pregnant and I just want to find a safeSafe driving for teens Safe sex way to test for IBC. I do have a lumpLumps in the breasts under my arm as well, can they do a biopsy there?
You need a punch biopsy of the skin where the redness is. This will then be tested by a pathologist to see if cancer is present. It is the only failsafe method of a proper diagnosis. No doctor can tell if you have breast cancer just by looking, no mtter what they say.
