Help With Medications

I have been taking Taxmoxifen and Paxil for almost a year now to prevent Breast cancer after having been diagnosed with Atypical Ductal Hyperplasia and also I have had 3 lumps removed.  None were cancerous thank God.  My question is:  Is there anything that can be done for the fatigue and joint pain associated with the paxil.  I can get 8 to 10 hrs of sleep a night and still wake up like I never went to sleep.  My knees and hands hurt on a daily basis and when the weather changes, its worse.

Thanks for any help you can give.

The pain can be from the Tamoxifen.  I don't know what you can do about it regardless of which med is causing it, but you should probably figure out which med it is first.  Meanwhile, check with your doc about taking Alleve or something in that family...

I had to stop taking the Tamoxifen because my pain was so bad I could not function.  Perhaps you can try switching from the Paxil first, to see if it is that.
