I agree and to feel stress plays a huge part in most medical diagnosis. And lately I have to admitt I have been stressed, Also I'm very fortunate to have amazing friends and a very loving and supportive family. I had my biopsy today and should have my results in a couple of days. Keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for your response.

I have never seen any research to support the assertion of the previous poster.
Being a woman, increasing age, genetic factors, obesity, smoking, more than light use of alcohol, combination HRT, etc. all have been found to be associated with increased risk for breast cancer.
As a psychotherapist with decades ot treating EXTREMELY stressed women, I have been amazed that only two of my patients have had breast cancer while under my care, and one was referred when she already had advanced breast cancer. This is a very low number, considering that the stats are currently that women in this country have a 1 in 8 lifetime risk.
If you have not had much other symptoms such as lumps, drainage etc and just the calcification, you should be fine. Stress is the #1 cause for breast cancer, if you want to lower your risks, then SERIOUSLY work on lower your stress, let go of things you hold-on to. It is hard though. Make friends with positive people, happy people. Just go through this scary period, you will be stronger and like being reborn with new energy!
