Hi, am new here

Hi all, i am a 32 yr old female with 3 children, last week i found a solid lump in my right breast (but i think it has been there for while, i have had other health concerns for 18mths), I am quite small busted so it feels huge!! but got my OH to check and he said it was about the size of a large strawberry?? It is an odd shape (not rounded) and the edges aren't very defined.
I have seen my GP and she has fast-tracked me to the local breast clinic for next friday for an ultrasound and possible biopsy as she ws concerned.
I have no family history of breast cancer.
I am really worried and have no-one to talk to about this, please can someone give me some reassurance??
Regards
Twinkle x

You are right, searching too much over the internet to know more about our problems does one thing for sure... confuse us even more! LOL
I sincerely hope that all goes well for you and wishing you good luck! :)

Thank you for your response, it means a lot to be able to come on here and discuss my concerns....i do have friends here at home but they have their own problems and i don't feel able to offload onto them. I know the lump is probably nothing serious..and i should really stop looking at sites on the net!!!
Once again
Many Thanks

Hi and welcome to our Forum.
This could be a cyst or a Fibroadenoma which are the most common benign lumps of the breast tissue. These benign lumps are hormonally responsive and may increase in size toward the end of each menstrual cycle. The majority of  lumps found in the breast are not alarming, but as you well know, when a lump is detected in the breast,it's always important to have it checked out.
It's a good thing that you are having an ultrasound done soon, and please let us know about the results which I hope will be nothing serious at all.
Wishing you all the best...
