Hormone therapy

I was diagnosed with Stage 0 DCIS in both breasts.  I have had surgery (lumpectomy and partial mast.) and am now undergoing radiation.  Right now unless an oncologist convinces me otherwise I do not want to go thru hormone therapy.  I just hear to much about all the side affects.   I'd like to hear from those who have or have not chosen to have HT and why.  Thanks

Most drugs do have side effects but not everyone will experience all or even any of them. The hormonal therapy does lessen the chance of recurrance of Estrogen positive cancers. You could always give it a try to see if you would experience the side effects and if it were severe you could stop. It is of course your decision to make but you should make yourself aware of the risks. Regards ....
