Hummm, I just noticed something

I was looking at my mammo images and I saw something that made me wonder. It's on the images where it has both breasts side by side. There are some little black triangles and something like a black astrix. They on the margins of the images it has sort of a legend with number on each side for each breast. Does anyone have a clue as to what they mean?

Sorry, Annie, I don't. I think you'd have to ask the radiologist what they mean. Reading mammogram films is a serious and complex process and radiologists study for years to be able to do it accurately. Plus they have computers to aid them in comparing films and finding minute changes. I'd definitely follow up with the radiologist, a breast specialist if you have one or my own doctor for more information.
