I need help asap

Hi I'm 18 years old well almost. My right boob is much larger than my left boob. And on the side of my right boob it's very hilly/lumpy and it pains a lot. I went to the doctors and she said it was inflamed? Should I be worried? I'm scared. My nipples are tender as well.

Hi ,
Nipple pain, including swelling in one or both breasts, could very well be related to hormonal fluctuation with respect to your menstrual cycle.
The discomfort can be due to many benign causes,(including pregnancy) and it's rarely associated with breast cancer, particularly at your age.Fibrocystic breast condition, breast infection, oral contraceptive pills, tight clothing could cause similar pain.
Avoiding foods and beverages containing caffeine, such as coffee, tea, chocolate and dark colas can decrease water retention and may help to alleviate the discomfort.
For the time being, you could take some over the counter pain relief medications, but if the pain still persists or if you notice increase swelling or redness, I think that you would need to see a Breast Specialist for a detailed clinical examination.I really doubt that your problem is a serious one, however it's better to get to the bottom of this problem so you can have peace of mind.
Take care and I hope you feel better soon.....
