IDK if this is a question or just a pndering nervous thought

I found a lump in my right breat about 4-6 weeks ago and at first I thought maybe it was due to the milk ducts being engorged (my daughter is 8 and since she was born, I have always been able to extract milk). Then when I realized it wasn't milk in a duct then I thought maybe its a cyst or a deep comodone (zit) but I pushed on it and then gave it time to heal but it wasn't a cyst or zit. I then came to the realization that it was a lump, it didn't hurt and I had better get it checked out.

I made my appointment with a pcp mine was out of the office for the day. The pcp had done a few different tests; having me lean forward, having me sit tall and examing my breasts, then checking while lay down with my right arm above my head. He asked about my history and also about my family history and 2 of my aunts on my fathers side had breast cancer and beat it (praise the Lord). So the pcp had his nurse make an appointment for a diagnostic and an untrasound for my breast, he mentioned that I most likely don't have breast cancer but because of my family history I will have a mammogram to rule it out.

The lump is at 4 o'clock and 1 cm big, it doesn't hurt, there is no indication of any in the arm pit and there isn't a dimple at the location of the bump. My nipple seems to be more sensitive with clothing or my arm or hair brushing it.

idk (I don't know) if Im all that nervous nor scared but I want to know about the lump if its cancer or not. The internet isn't all that helpful when I don't have all the info to better prepare myself. My mother in law was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and had heart complications in the process. She is 74 and Im greatful she beat the chances that were stacked against her but now that Im going through this she seems to vocalize like this is her story and it urks me off.

Much appreciate anyone with same general symptoms or knowledge to please give advice or story so I am better equipped even though we are our own person I just like to have a heads up.

I've never heard any woman under any circumstances that didn't agree that the waiting was the worst and unfortunately when it comes to these breast issues a lot of waiting is required. Do your best ... like you say that's all we can do. We'll be here waiting with you so let us know when you get some results.  Take care.....

The only way to diagnose a finding as malignant or benign is first have the appropriate film testing which you have scheduled. If there is some suspicion then some type of biopsy would no doubt be advised. Only then would a firm diagnosis be possible. You are doing the right things and taking the correct steps to an answer as to what this lump represents. Symptoms are different in each and every case so comparisons are a waste of time and often gives a false impression. Breast discharge is not unusual and rarely of any concern unless it is bloody, from one breast only and occurs WITHOUT stimulation or squeezing of any kind. Of course you are worried; we all go through that stage and we usually overthink or deny; none of it helps though but we are human after all. I wouldn't advise too much research on the internet as most of the information you find will be so general that it rarely applies to anyone in particular. It's very much a waiting game and that's not easy but some how we all get through it .... like your Aunts and Mother-in-law did. You will too.   Regards ....

There is clear fluid discharge and once in a while there is shooting pain in my breast but it doesn't happen very much and is intermitten.
