Im 16 year old male with a lump under my right nipple

Hey everyone im a 16 year old teenage boy with a lump under my right nipple. honestly im very scared and just looking for answers please. i had the normal gynecomastia two years ago and it went away. now ive noticed the lump under my right nipple. ive recently been working out and im still going through puberty so could those factors contribute to why i have this lump maybe because of hormonal changes or what? please help.

Hi Kris ... I really think you should STOP thinking about breast cancer .... this disease does NOT appear all at once; it is usually present for several years before there is any indication that something is wrong. What you describe just doesn't fit the profile ...  Take care

thank you for the help. ive started to calm down a bit i havent noticed any abnormal changes in my nipple or discharge (thank god) and its already been five days since ive discovered the lump. i hope everything is okay though. but my question to you is is that even if it were breast cancer dont you think i would of noticed any abnormal changes and discharge in my nipple within these past five days?

well, you are a very wise young man. Indeed the hormonal changes could be responsible for the lump you have described. I don't believe the working out would be responsible though. These lumps are fairly common in young men in your age group. If you are terribly concerned you might have it checked out by your Dr.just to put your mind at ease.    Take care ....
