Inflamatory Breast Cancer?

I have had bi-lateal mastectomy for invasive ductal and invasive lobular and high grade intraductal. In the biopsy report it also states "sections of the skin show the presence of metastatic adenocarcinoma in the dermis, mostly are inside of lymphovascular channels" Is this the same as inflamatory breast cancer? I thought I was stage 3b , would this make me stage 4?
Thanking you in advance for any information.
Lizzy.

Dear Lizzy2000:  While skin involvement is a typical presentation in inflammatory breast cancer.  It is also possible to have non-inflammatory breast cancer and have skin metastases.  Your doctor will be better able to answer this question for you taking into account the manner in which the cancer presented and the rest of the clinical and pathological picture.
