Inflammatory Breast Cancer

I have had a small red circle on my breast for 4 weeks.  It has gotten slightly larger but no heat or itch.  It did not respond to Nystatin and Triamcinolone and I have now been prescribed Loprox.

I have had 2 mamograms which stated "within the subcutaneous breast tissue, there are two low density masss with fatty central portion, circumscribed contour, no calcification and no architectural distortion.  This suggests a benign lymph node".

From this, my doctors do not seem concerned.  Would you recommend I persue bioposy?  The last mamogram (mammogram) stated "one of the densities is clearly positioned within the axillary tail". What does this mean?

If I press for a biopsy, should they do a skin one as well as a surgical or needle?  Is a Excisional Surgical Biopsy the only way I will know for sure (100%) what I have?

Sorry for so many questions (4).  Please respond ASAP as I am panic-striken, cannot sleep and have developed stress-induced cold sores.

Thank you!   : )

Dear Begging for God's healing, From the information you have provided the results of the mammogram see two densities that appear to be lymph nodes.  Being in the axillary tail means that it is near the underarm, which is a normal location to see a lymph node.  It is not clear from the above whether these densities correspond to the red circle you have noted on your breast.

Xray densities with fatty centers are nearly certain to be benign lymph nodes. Ordinarily biopsy isn't considered necessary; however in some contexts, including when the patient is worried enough that only biopsy will satisfy her, it could be considered. A small red spot on the skin of the breast may not mean any more than a red spot on the skin anywhere else; again, context is important. What you describe sounds very innocent. Inflammatory breast cancer typically involves a large area of skin, and the skin is thickened, often dimpled, and the breast itself is usually abnormal as well. How far you need to go for reassurance depends on things not fully assessable online, including your own level of comfort, as well as specific physical findings.
