Inflammatory breast cancer after invasis ductal

Inflammatory breast cancer after invasis ductal

I was dx Jan 03 with invasive ductal cancer, 2 cm tumour, ER+, 3/18 positive nodes. WLE Feb 03, total axillary removal Mar 03.
6 x FEC chemo, 25 rads, now on Armidiex. For past few montha my right breast, where tumour was below the nipple, has been very hot and swollen. 2-3 weeks ago found long lumps above nippled and two on aureole. There is dimpling between the breast and armpit, and what looks like an old bruise. Saw my GP Mon last, have urgen appt 8.30 am Sat with breast surgeon for consultation and possible mammo, ultrasound and core biopsy. Is it possible to get inflammatory breast cancer after invasive? My original tumour was not palpable so I have experience of what a cancerous lump feels like. If it is cancer recurrence, what is the treatment?I was on methotrexate for 4 yrs for Crohn's and my Gastro thinks I became resistant to it as I got bc whilst taking it. I have taken prednisolone for 30 yrs. Many thanks for youe advice.
