Inflammatory breast cancer after invasive ductal cancer

by lizziecee, Nov 07, 2006 12:00AM
Dx 2003 idc 2 cm, stage and grade 2. 4/18 lymph nodes cancerous.
Had WLE, total axillary removal, 6xFEC, 25 rads, been on Arimidex 3 yrs.Now have swelling of same breast, aureole grossly enlarged with white lumps. Half of same breast pink, white spike like lumps radiating from nipple to mid chest. Is this inflammatory breast cancer? I am seeing a bc surgeon tomorrow but he misdiagnosed my Mondor's disease as due to rx so have little confidence in him. Original bc surgeon had a stroke and is retired.  Don't have much choice in docs as we have socialised medicine in the UK and just have to see whatever doctor is available. Any insight/help gratefully appreciated.
