Invasice Ductal Carcinoma in situ

Hi,
   My mom recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and went througth the MRI,Bonescan,Muga scan,Memotan(breat biopsy) tests.
Bonescan and Muga report are normal, And during memotan report shows as follows:
=====
Report is of invasive ductal carcinoam with infiltrating pattern and also extensive ductal carcinoma in situ. Microcalcifications are present.Calcifications were widely spread in the upper outer quadrant of the left breast and only a small portion was sampled with extensive remaining calcifications still present.
=======
(There is lymphnode, one is underarm)

Which stage of this cancer is?
And my oncologist is suggested to do the Chemotheraphy and i had surgon to put the "Mediport insertion" today for chemotheraphy.
  Does chemotheraphy is the first step to take or surgery?(Lumpactomy or Muctactomy)
If chemotheraphy then what kind of chemotheraphy should be better?

Dear rvpatel77:  The stage of cancer depends on the size of the tumor as well as lymph node involvement or other spread of the tumor.  Chemotherapy can be given either before and after surgery or just after surgery, depending on the situation.  Your mother would be best served by speaking with her breast surgeon as well as a medical oncologist.  The team can then put together a plan of action.

Just talked with oncologist and he will start with Adreamycin Chemotheraphy at every 3weeks for 4-cycle. And then probably gives the Herception medication for a year.
