Is this a prelude to breast cancer

I have had a bright red area on the underside of my left breast, it's bumpy and painful and seems to be growing in size.  It's been there for several weeks, I use baby powder on that area daily so I don't believe its heat rash.  I have been having  ultra sounds on that breasts for cysts, they have been benign so far.

Dear bijouboomer, The skin on the breast is like skin on the rest of the body and subject to a variety of conditions.  If it continues to be a problem for you, you may want to bring it to the attention of your doctor who can check it out and advise more specifically.
