Is this a recurrernce

Hi, I had a mastectomy after lumpectomy for High grade  DCIS which had 1mm of invasion, 13 lymph nodes out and the pathology report showed that everything had been taken at the first operation.  I am on Tamoxifen.  Today, after checking the area - I found a very tiny  lump, its so tiny, but in my mind its still a lump, now I am freaking out that its a recurrence, it was February that I had the ops, how likely is it that its all started again?

Thank you
Hazel

Hi, thanks for your post, I am at the hospital in a few days so will call in and see the doctor then.

That sounds like it could be scar tissue but I highly doubt that it's a tumor.  I'd suggest calling your doctor if only for peace of mind!

Good luck to you!
