Did you see the response japdip provided to your previous post, "all about lymph node," 10/13/09?
I agree with her, that, especially in such a confusing case, only your own physician, who has all your records and tests, can provide the answers you need. Or, if you have lost trust in your physician, seek a second opinion from a breast cancer specialist, who may be able make sense of all this for you. It might also be helpful to take someone with you, who could also ask questions and make sure your health situation is clarified to your satisfaction.
I am sorry that you have gone through so much, and are still left with so much doubt and confusion.
In order for us to help you though, we need more information about how all this developed, and what they thought it was at first? Sounds like they wanted to do the surgery preventatively, also wanted to take out your lymph nodes but then did a sentinel biopsy and based on the negative results left the lymph nodes alone?
Now you have calcifications in your lymph nodes? Where you ever actually diagnosed with malignant caner, either then and/or now?
Why do they think it's stage 4?
Would you clarify, please?
Katrin
