Losing hair again

by crk1000, Feb 22, 2006 12:00AM
I finished my a/c chemo a few months ago and of course lost my hair completely 2 weeks into it. My hair started growing back slwoing when I started the 't' taxotere chemo and I finished it 2/1/06. My hair is now about an inch long and now as of yesterday it is falling out again. What is happening? It's coming out all over again, not just on my head!

Dear crk1000:  It is not uncommon for hair loss to occur as a result of taxotere.  It may be that your current hair loss has something to do with the cumulative dose of taxotere.  Hopefully, this will be short-lived and your hair will not fall out completely and resume growth quickly.
