Lumpectomy pain after 2 weeks

I had 2 lumpectomies in my left breast, plus sentinel node biopsy exactly 2 weeks ago.. Had problems will all the pain medication prescribed, therefore I've only been able to take Aleve. I have a high theshhold for pain, but this has been horrible. The 3 incision sites are still sore, plus the area around my back close to the arm burns and stings. I've been using ice. Heat aggrivates.  When will some of this subside. Any suggestions.

Dear arlene830:  Post operative pain can vary widely in the recovery period.  You may wish to discuss this with your surgeon to see if, based on the procedure, this would be expected and whether he/she has any additional ideas for pain relief.
