Lumps in each armpit

by pj harvey, Jun 12, 2002 12:00AM
I have a pea sized lump in each armpit.  They seem to be appearing and dissappearing over the last couple of weeks and have been very painful.
Do you know if this could be linked to the early stages of pregnancy?

Dear pj, These may be lymph nodes that you are feeling.  There is not necessarily a correlation between increased lymph nodes (if they are increased, it may be you are just noticing them) and pregnancy.  Lymph nodes can be enlarged and painful for various reasons, for example your body fighting infection.
