Lumps on both breast after a lump removal

Lumps on both breast after a lump removal

I am a 33 year old woman I found a large lump on my breast . The Dr had me to have a biopsy and he said that the lump needed to removed. The Dr informed me that it was a Fibroadenoma. I had a mammogram done and everything was okay. I developed fever in my breast and the Dr said that it was some kind of infection and he was not sure what kind, he suggested that I have a mammogram done just to make sure that everything was okay. I was informed by the Dr that the results from the mammogram showed that there was something in both breast this time. I scheduled  for a repeat mammogram in three months. Should I be worried about this?

Once you are prone to developing Fibroadenoma they will continue to appear. I would hope that if you do have an infection that it is being treated as such. I would also suggest that you see a Breast Specialist to determine exactly what is going on within the breast tissue. The report from your latest Mammogram should state what these "somethings" are that you state were seen in both breasts. I would guess Fibroadenomas but a good look by a Specialist who would review all your films is still my recommendation.   Regards ....
