MRI on Breast

I had an MRI done today after being diagnosed with invasive carcinoma on my left breast.  The doctor wanted to be sure it had not spread.  I am very nervous waiting for the results.  I have a very small non-palpable mass that is about 1 cm.  The doctor feels the cancer has not spread......What do you think?

I also had an MRI before surgery.. like you I had IDC .My tumor was 9mm,almost like yours and also non palpable ..My surgeon also felt that the cancer had not spread to my lymph nodes.. and she was right!! After my surgery I had 20 radiotherapy sessions.I hope that since what is happening to you, happened to me almost identically, that everything will be just fine for you as it was for me.The waiting is the worst part but nothing can be done about that...we all have to wait and it's so awful isn't it?? Just be patient and try to keep busy just to keep your mind away from thinking about it. Good luck and take care.PS Please keep us posted about the results.
