Mammogram/Lymph Nodes

I went for my annual mammogram in Feb. 2008.  I am 42.  I was asked to come again for some more special pictures due to first set of mammograms not looking normal in left breast.  The second set showed "shadow".  My doctor described me being a "2" out of "5".  A "1" being normal mammogram, a "2" being something that is unclear, man-made, something to watch and to come back in 6 months for another mammogram.  I have implants.  My left breasts is numb on arm side due to implant surgery.  My left breast does bother me and does hurt.  Also, enlarged lymph nodes are at the side, just under the pit of my left arm.  My doctor said these are lymph nodes of the breast, not axillary.  He said not to worry about these, but if I am concerned he would remove the lymph nodes.  I am scheduled for April 25th removal.  These do not hurt, but seem to ache inside, along with my breast and left arm tingling pain.  Also, noted by my doctor is that there is not a tumor according to the mammagrams and he said not to worry, there is nothing there.  But of course I am worried and am wondering what could make my lymph nodes enlarged.  Is removal of these lymph nodes okay?  I know they will test these nodes once removed.  Any help you can give would be appreciated.
