Mammogram and ultrasound show small circlular spots on right breast

I had swollen glands (iunder chin area) and a slightly swollen lymph node in my right armpit (very small my doctor said) so my family doctor put me on antibiotics (I also have a bad sinus infection) and sent me for a mammogram to rule anything else out.

I just had the mammogram completed yesterday morning and they took an additional 2 pictures of my right breast.  There was something that showed up so I immediately had an ultrasound.  It was determined that there was something very low and close to the chest wall in my right breast.  To me it looked like two very small circles.  The technician initially told me they could be cysts, however, they did not have any fluid in them and she said one looked like it had some debris in it, but she didn't think it was anything too serious and that I would probably have to come back in 6 months ... which is what the doctor wants me to do.  Can you give me any insight as to what this might be?  Should I be worried  Could this all be tied into my swollen lymph nodes in my neck and throat and the sinus infection.  My family doctor took blood a few weeks ago and said she had ruled out anything like hodgkins, non-hodgkins or leukemia.

Dear howarrs:  Without review of the mammogram, it is impossible to speculate on what this might be or what the follow up would be.  You should discuss this with your doctor and if you are uncomfortable, consider a second opinion with a breast specialist.  These are often affilitated with large academic medical centers.
