My Breast

I would like to ask you about my breast :
My experience there was a time when I was taking a shower and my breast was so num
It gets num when water touches the nipple area it really hurted - On this particular breast which is on the Left side is also lumpy around the nipple. As I compare this nipple to the other nipple I don't think its normal - as I was saying its lumpy on that nipple - it becomes dry and flaky, white stuff - as if it ash or dryness- his was surrounded by this particular nipple and I'm scared. After the pain, dryness and the lumps produced my period came. Today I look in the mirror and compare the breast the Left breast looks abnormal compared to the right breast.

What should I do ?

Hi,

What is your age?

Could you elaborate on your symptoms?

Have you noticed any breast lump, nipple changes, skin changes, etc on breast self examination?

Do the symptoms vary in relation to your menstrual cycle?

You could be having this due to fibroadenomas - but nothing can be said with surety without a proper clinical examination and relevant investigations.

You should consult your doctor and breast specialist and see what he/she has to say.

You could take some oral pain relief  medications, breast massage and try some warm compresses and see if it helps with your symptoms.

Let us know if you have any other doubts and post us about how you are doing.

Regards.

Hi,
Sorry, could not grasp much from your history. If there is asymmetry of the breasts, you require having a self breast examination to look for any lump in the breast which looks bigger. The dryness and flaky white stuff seen on your breast could be due to some skin pathology.
It would ideal to have you examined by a surgeon.
