My Results....Get a Second opinion?

Hello all,

Well yesterday I went for my core needle Ultrasound guided breast biopsy.  In April while I was expecting they found a lump so I did an ultrasound and they said it was b3 probable fibroadenoma (at that time I could definitely feel the lump b/c it was quite large) about 2.cm.  So they wanted me to follow up 6 months later with another ultrasound and that is when they were suspicious b/c they saw 2 lumps one that was 5mm and another that was 1.3 cm they said it was solid mass and that they wanted me to do this biopsy.

To make a long story short, I haven't been able to feel the lump recently so when I went in yesterday the nurse could only see one little cyst and a lymph node (which is normal).  They couldn't find the lump and the radialogist said it could have been a cyst that might have just disappeared or decreased in size.

She told me that cancerous lumps never change in terms of getting smaller, they grow larger. So they didn't do the biopsy but she told me to just do a self exam every month just to make sure.

Do you guys think I should go for another ultrasound in a different place or do you think I am okay for now?

If you feel concerned i would suggest maybe going for another ultrasound...i probably would just to be a 100% postitive...self exams are good as well....you'll be able to tell!! Good luck!
