HAD A ROUTINE MAMMO THEY FOUND SEVERAL NODULES IN BOTH BREAST, THEN ONTO A DIAGNOSTIC
MAMMO, THEN ULTRASOUND AND TODAY MRI. MY QUESTION IS : IS THIS  A  ROUTINE PROCEDURE OR
SHOULD I BE CONCERNED.....I CAN'T SEEM TO GET PAST THE FEAR. IT SEEMS THAT IN AN INSTANT OUR
LIVES CAN  TURN UPSIDE DOWN.

UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE SEVERAL LUMPS TO CONTEND WITH!!!

ANYONE PLEASE ANSWER

Hi Just saying they found several nodules does not mean cancer . I have had the same thing told to me and they turned out to be fluid filled cyst so don't panic but do stay on top of your health care . Do not relay completely on a DRs . Knowledge is the best tool for good health care and always listen to that inner voice and if what the Dr tells you does not feel right get a second oppion and do lots of research . I like Web Md and The Mayo Cinic sites for researcing health matters . The best to you !

Thank you so much for responding to me...you are truly an advocate for BC. I'm trying to understand that inner voice.
Right now I just want to know something concrete. The time in between all the wait is what's messing me up.

I would like to know more about you? What ever happened to the fluid filled cysts? What is your prognosis today?

I HAVE HAD TO ADDRESS BC WITH MY OWN TESTS AND STUDIES, I HAVE TO CONTINUE WITH

Thats awesome news !!! Life is a wonderful thing with our good n bad moments but I think we have to have the bad to really appeciate all the good that comes our way ! I am still in limbo as to what is wrong with my right breast . I have through a mamo, mri, core biospy with ultra sound  and they said nothing indicated cancer . I still have a nipple that is caved into the skin around it and redness and warm to the touch . The skin around the nipple has turned to whitish peachy color  and is wrinkle and enlarged . No dr seems to have good answer yet .I go to a new one Monday . I have been on antibiotics for nearly 2 months  now and  I don't like but I want to get rid of this infection .Have you ever heard of such ? Thanks in advance ! Blessings !

I forgot to answer your questions . LOL ! Sorry  The fluid  fill cyst were drained  with a needle and the fluid was sent off for testing .Came back negative. The last one I had was about 2years ago .I have had lots of them over the years and sometimes they just watch them and they go away .I use to have lots of them on my ovaries too but have not had a problem in years .
I have been told if they are fluid filled instead of solid  that the ultrasound waves will go through them and thats how they know . Cheers !
