In November 2006 I had a lumpectomy for a Phyllodes Tumor low grade malignacy.
I now have a tender lumpLumps in the breasts in the same breast which was biopsied with the findings
Spindle Cell Neoplasm. I meet with the surgeon soon and wondered if anyone else
has had a similiar occurance?
I am open to all opinions.

This is probably a recurrence of the Phylloides tumor since spindle cells are characteristic of these types of tumors.
Even at low grade, phylloides tumors can indeed grow back, especially if the operation done before is inadequate (meaning, with positive or close margins). The treatment for this would be another resection, this time with wider margins. You may also want to discuss about radiation treatment if ever the histologic grade would be different (if it turns to intermediate or high grade).
Regards.
