Nipple Discharge on one side.....

Nipple Discharge on one side.....

Hi, I'm a 19 year old male and seem to have gynecomastia on my right breast.  Today, i squeezed my right breast pretty hard and saw multiple discharges from the nipple.  When I tried the same on the left breast, i couldn't get any discharge even though i was trying very very hard.  The discharge is not spontaneous; it occurs on the right breast when i squeeze the nipple and gynecomastia area very very hard.  Why does this happen and should I be concerned about breast cancer from the gynecomastia and nipple discharge on one side?

P.S. I've heard gynecomastia is due to an imbalance of hormones in the body.  I've got a left variocele, and after doing a sonogram, it was not testicular cancer.  Does all of this (gynecomastia, etc....)  have anything to do with other types of cancer (testicular, etc...).  I feel very worried...

Thank You.

Dear hellohello, In a female when the breasts are squeezed a signal is sent to the brain to release hormones which in turn stimulate the breasts and may produce fluid.  In a male it is abnormal to have any type of discharge from the breast, as during puberty the breast does not develope in the same way as a woman's breast does.  You would be best served by discussing your situation with your doctor, who can ask questions and perform the appropriate evaluations, to determine what is going on.
