Nipple Discharge

Is a milky or white discharge from the nipples a sign of breast cancer?

Squeezing the nipple sends message to the brain and the pituitary gland responds by increasing prolactin levels, which in turn produces discharge from the nipple. Im glad to see there is web site that gives such information..I had a breast augmentation of feb 11th 2003..I had a really bad infection in my left breast before it healed..Jus recently i relaized there was a yellowish thick liquid oozing from that same breast..afrsaid and scared some thing was wrong i went to the doctor..I am awaiting a appointment for a mammogram and i recieved a breast exam the doctor looked concerned..NOT MORE CONCERNED THAN ME, but concerned..Im scared and in disbelief that some thing could be wrong after I fought so long to get a breast reduction due to back problems..I was a 48dd and now 42 c Im not very happy with my breast either but my back thanks me everyday..So keep your head up what wont kill you will make you stronger trust me..
