Hi there.
The cause of your bloody nipple discharge needs to be investigated further. Both benign and malignant conditions can cause such symptom, especially if this occurs only on one breast. Examples of benign condition include fibrocystic disease, intraductal papilloma, galactocele, and mastitis. Examples of malignant condition include breast carcinoma, fibrosarcoma, and Paget’s disease of the nipple. A breast MRI can be helpful in elucidating the cause. I would suggest a cytologic examination of the nipple discharge also.
Good luck.
