Normal delay for surgery invasive ductal breast cancer

I have just been diagnosed with invasive ductal breast cancer (left breast) and the earliest appointment I can get at the cancer clinic here in order to set up full scan and surgery (I live in France) is August 4. The tumeur is Grade 2 and is 2.2 cm. Should I be trying to get an earlier appointment at another hospital? Thanks

I suppose you could ask for an earlier appointment but I see no real reason for doing so.  I personally chose to wait more than a month for my surgery with no untoward effect. I doubt that you could get an earlier date as there is usually at least a 2 week wait to be scheduled at best. Your comfort level of course is something to be considered but there is always some measure of waiting along this journey.   Regards ....
