Dear Bright Eyes, There is data showing a slightly increased risk of breast cancer in obese women with a diet high in calories and fat.  Maintaining a low-calorie, low-fat (especially animal fat), high-fiber or Oriental-style diet may decrease risk, further study of dietary influences continues.
