One nipple is now inverted most of the time

One of my nipples has recently became inverted ... or most of the time it is. Is this anything to worry about? I am 58 and breast cancer runs in my family.

Dear BlushingAngel:  If this is a new finding, you should probably have it checked.  I would also remind you to make sure that you are current with your doctors exam and yearly mammogram.

Hi, I just wanted to tell you that I am having the same problem. With recent ultrasounds showing suspious areas on first opinion to biopsy, and second opinion to wait and see, and a needle aspiration done with no diagnoses being made?,, I am very worried and everytime I ask for help, they make me feel like I am being overreactive.  I have fibocystic breasts and mammogram show nothing but density. I have asked for opinions on many websites, also.  Most say to get a third, but he money just isn't there.  I do have a grant, but not enough for the hospital to take me without more up front.  If you have the resources, DO NOT WAIT!  Please let us know how it turns out. I'll be watching for you.
