Opening from Stereotatics Biopsy seems hard to heal..??

I had a stereotatic biopsy about 1.5 months ago. The opening at my breast has not healed up yet. It is still moist with tiny little blood on top of some new tissue kind of things, but those new tissue would stick up about 2-3mm sometimes, and sometimes, they are flat.

I was never told that it would be a HOLE, instead my doctor had told me it would be a small cut.  I was surprised to see a hole on my breast when I replaced the bandage the very first time.

Want to know how long the opening would heal completely??  Thank You.

Dear SFMei:  Biopsies may heal at different rates depending on the technique, the individual, and whether there are any complications.  Without examination, we cannot speculate on whether your biopsy site is healing as expected.  You should contact your surgeon and discuss the situation.  He/she would be best equipped to do an examination and make an estimate as to what you can expect in the healing process.
