PLease help my mom

My mom had a masectomy in July because of ductial carcinoma in situ that was found. Since the surgery she has had constant achiness in her legs. It impairs her daily living and is begining to worry alot of people. Her doctors have no idea what this is and no ideas on how to help her. She says it feels like the flu with just the achy feeling in her legs and sometimes the chills. If anyone has any advice as to what this is please either post here or email me which is sometimes better (***@****) THanks

Dear Bicca, It seems unlikely that this is related to the mastectomy.  Did she have any infection following the surgery?  The determination as to what may be causing this achy feeling in her legs and chills would need to be evaluated within the context of a complete history of symptoms and physical examination.
