Pain after radiation

by LisaB3, May 30, 2002 12:00AM
Hello,
I am a 41 year old female, dx last year with stage one bc in the left breast.  Had lumpectomy, 7 weeks radiation which I finished last August.  Am currently on tamoxifen.  Here is my question.

Below the breast I had radiation on I am having pain in what appears to be my rib cage.  It is tender to the touch.  I am worried the radiation caused some problems.  I cannot get in to see my radiologist until next week.  Do you have any ideas of what this could be?

Thanks.

Dear LisaB3, It is possible that this pain may be related to past radiation it's difficult to say without evaluation.
