Pain and cramping after Tram Flap surgery

My pain seems to be constant and everywhere... all down my arm right through to my fingers, around my rib cage, under my armpit, shoulders and neck.  There’s so much pain going on in this body, that I think I have become an annoyance to family, as well as my care team.  There’s a burning sensation and a tingling and throbbing under my armpit.  I have constant cramping in my abdomen and I'm always bloated.  Sometimes I look like I'm 8 months pregnant.  I have a very nice surgeon, but he can't explain to me what the problem is.  I am miserable and would like to know if anyone has had the same happen to them after cancer treatments and then after Tram Flap Surgery.  I welcome all comments and any suggestions as to how I can make my life easier.
Thank you.

Just and added note; if you put "TramFlap Complications" in the "search" option at the top right of the BC Community page it will bring up several posts and discussions that may be of some help to you.    Regards ....

I'm sorry you are experiencing so much discomfort following your procedure. You don't state when your tram flap was done but I can tell you that many women have the same problems that you are having. There have been a number of discussions in our Community about these issues. If you scroll through the posts I'm sure you will find several and you may get some encouragement from reading those posts. The issues you are having are all too common with this type of surgery as unfortunate as that may seem. In time things will surely improve to some degree .... if you have a "care team" I am thinking that your surgery is fairly recent. If it has been many months or even a year post-op you might ask your treating Physician if a referral to a pain clinic would be of some help. If your surgery was recent then time may be the only solution.  Kindest regards .....
