Pain in Left Breast

by di7304, Mar 17, 2009 01:33PM
Hi, I had a biopsy on my left breast 2 years ago. The results were benign. Ever since then, I've had sensitivity. In the past few months, I've started to have pain. More recently, the pain has gotten worse. A few days ago, my breast was swollen. The swelling has since gone. I have done a self breast exam but I haven't felt any lumps for masses. When I take ibuprofin, the pain subsides for the most part. I also feel pain in my armpit and I sometimes feel it in my ribs. I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow. I've seen a few posts with the same symptoms that I have but haven't seen any diagnoses for them. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

That's because breast pain can be caused by many things. It's a hard thing to pin down exactly. Hopefully when you see your Dr. some of your concerns will be answered.   Regards ....
