Painful Breasts

I am 29 years old. Four months ago I was starting to have signs of pregnancy (breast tenderness, clear/milky colored nipple discharge, nausea, etc). I had a perio-gaurd IUD in that I had for eight years so I figured that preganacy (pregnancy) was unlikely but all the signs were pointing to that. Needless to say I was not pregnant. I was tested for thyroid problems...came back negative. Had a hormone panel done....came back normal ranges. Had a abdominal ultrasound and it showed a small "blood" cyst on my left ovary but thats it. I am still experiencing a lot of pain in my breasts and I can still get my breast to express fluid (sometimes more than others). I have tried to track if the pain is cyclic with my menstral cycle but it doesn't appear to be as it is constant. I do feel two lumps (one in each breast) on the outer side towards my armpit that are VERY TENDER. and all the pain seems to radiate from there. I have read on other posts that asks if the lump edgy is "gritty" feeling but honestly it is so sore that I can't feel it long enough to tell. It hurts all day even without putting pressure on it. I am a size "D" Cup and just the slight jiggling from walking hurts. I have invested in many high end good supporting bras since this started hoping it would help but to no avail. I had a ultrasound today done of the painful areas and the tech mentioned that there was dense tissue in my left breast. This is my first breast ultrasound and I have never had a mamogram (mammogram) so I don't know if the dense tissue is normal for me or if it is abnormal. I know that there are lympnodes in your breasts around the areas that are painful for me so I am wondering if that is what is causing the pain. I am just concerned as I am generally a healthy person and never had anything like this before. I hate going to the doctors and won't go unless it is something that I think is overly bothersome. I guess I just want to know what could be the cause of all this? I still don't feel right physically and do get nausous easily which is also something that started at the onset of this. Any ideas of what could be causing this or has anyone gone through something similar that could give me some insight? I doubt its breast cancer as its weird that its in both breasts and its in the same spot in both breasts. But oddly enough I am afraid for them to come back say everything is normal because I really don't feel like everything is normal and that I will have to live with this pain and other symptoms until it decides to go away. Like I said, I am not one to go to the doctors but this is really bothering me. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I have one child who is eight (hence why I had the IUD in for eight years :) ) I ha the IUD removed last month because with this going on plus the cyst and it was almost due to come out anyways I figured I would just have it taken out. I am now on the pill.

So thats it in a nutshell.....really hoping someone has some information or advice for me!

Thanks!
Michelle
