Painful burning sensation in left breast

I am 30 years old and for the past week I have been having severe pain and burning in my left breast. I did a self examination and found a lump on the right side of my breast. My mother had breast cancer when she was 45 and when I asked her about her lump hers burned. My mom gas had two aunts pass away from cancer. I'm scared and can't call my doctor until Monday.

Pain is rarely associated with Breast Cancer ... even though this seems to be the case with your Mother. Call you Dr. ASAP and get an appointment ... perhaps you can ask for an appointment with a Breast Specialist to start with; you might ask for a referral but your own Dr. may want to see you first depending on his/her routine. Lumps that appear suddenly and cause discomfort are usualy Fibroadenomas which are benign breast tumors. With your family history even if this turns out to be something other than BC you probably should be monitored yearly even though you are only 30.  Regards ....
